Who am I?

My name is Harrison Novak. I have been a game designer for the past 4 years, and a game player for my entire life.

Have you ever been playing a game and thought “Wow, something about this really clicks with me”, but you couldn’t quite figure out why? Maybe you switched to a new FPS game, and realized that the last one you were playing just felt better somehow.

My goal is to break apart what makes games give you that feeling of enjoyment.

Who is this blog for?

This blog is catered for game developers and players alike. If you’re anything like me, you love watching YouTube videos that explain the good and bad aspects of games, and you don’t have to be a developer to understand what I’m talking about. I (usually) won’t get too technical and talk about things like poly-count and vector math, and the kind of stuff. But hey, if there’s content that you’re interested in seeing, head on over to the Contact page at the top and let us know what you’d like to see!

How often is content posted?
